Hub Practice Manager

My client is a business advisory and accountancy group that sits within the top 20 accountancy firms in the UK & Ireland. We combine the power of more than 100 firms from across the country and are a diverse team of over 1600 advisors who can offer an enviable bank of experience and resources to our clients which means we can support them to overcome challenges and achieve their business and personal goals.

BCC is a two-partner practice employing thirty staff located in Ashbourne & Santry. The practice has a broad range of clients; however, we do specialise in Medical Practices. Most of our clients are in the Meath/Dublin region but we do have a substantial number around the country.

The Hub Practice Manager's role is to support the Hub Director with leading regional offices(ROs) including the hub office within their Hub, acting as the conduit between the regional offices and the Hub.

What you will be doing:

  • Resource the administrative and support teams across the hub
  • Manage workflows and turnaround times
  • Client feedback
  • Coordinate and monitor training programmes, CPD and professional exams
  • Centralise AML and Engagement letters
  • Centralise independence and Integrity checks
  • Manage health and safety for offices
  • Liaise with marketing to coordinate and run events
  • Oversee and support project role outs
  • Reports on team performance by RO and hub
  • Liaise with People function for all HR matters across the ROs including the hub
  • Coordinate IT requirements of ROs with central IT
  • Estates management across the Hub
  • Coordinate recruitment requirements across the Hub with central recruitment
  • Provide compliance support and link to central compliance

About you:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • A good understanding of digital developments in the accountancy industry and IT systems capability
  • Ability and experience in staff management including development of staff
  • Have good processes and working practices in their existing role
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate a range project lines across multiple locations
