IT Support - On Site

IRC have partnered with a long standing client once again to bring this brand new and exciting role to market. We are looking to bring in an On Site IT Support Officer to work alongside a dynamic team based in Shannon, Co. Clare!
Principal Accountabilities
IT Services:
- First Level Support for all EKAS IT related issues.
- Manage all IT ticket creation through to closure.
- Quickly analyze and troubleshoot IT issues through to resolution.
- Work with and build relationship with IT IE and the IT helpdesk for quick support where needed.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining reports from our various systems.
- Set up and maintain inboxes and permissions.
Tool Support:
- First Level support for all site related application issues.
- Liaise and network with IT IE, IT helpdesk and external vendor for support where required.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and increased efficiencies.
- Support EKAS CSD Manager on day to day running of tools.
- Support EKAS CSD Manager on logins/permission requests on a daily basis.
- Support as required on implementation of systems ( UAT, roll out of new features)
Telecoms and Other:
- First level support for all site related Telecoms problems.
- Able to quickly analyze and troubleshoot Telco issues.
- Set up and maintain all phone logins, and terminals
- Set up and maintain all EKAS phone lines as required.
- Facilitate reports from IQ when required.
Network Management:
- Manage the size and archiving of the EKAS shared drives.
- Grant folder permission as requested.
Asset Management
- Manage EKAS IT inventory
- Keep inventory list up to date - this includes all hardware and license
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
IT Skills :
- Expert Knowledge of Windows 10 and MS Office 365.
- Keep up to date with recent Windows operating systems.
- Some understanding of MySQL and VBA , HTML would be an advantage
- Understanding of IP Phone setup.
- Understanding of printer / fax setup
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to learn, take instruction and communicate feedback
Strong understanding of reporting tools and techniques.
Ability to operate and communicate in a structured manner.
