Responsible for supporting the business in relation to the company Quality Management System

Main responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Maintaining the company Quality Management System
  • Managing the internal and supplier audit system to ensure quality and environmental audits are scheduled and executed in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Conducting quality audits in line with ISO9001 and Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
  • Supporting external audits (external auditing bodies and customer audits) by being the key contact.
  • Supporting Supplier Approval programme
  • Managing Change Control and Risk Assessment programme
  • Managing the Document Control programme including the management of the interface between document control and training
  • Assisting in the investigation and coordination of non-conformance's and customer complaints and assessing the need for implementation of effective corrective or preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Managing day-to-day CAPA requirements by ensuring timely and effective initiation, investigation, correction and corrective actions
  • Educating functional areas on quality management system requirements
  • Promoting a quality culture within the business
  • Working with operational teams to drive process adherence and sustainability throughout the business
  • Support company initiatives by participating in project teams as required
  • Ensure operational compliance to all revenue and international trade legislative requirements, in addition to all DGF IE policies and procedures (H&S, Quality, Environmental, HR, etc), and work in a manner that supports the Company environment programme.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in the day to day management of a Quality Management System
  • Diploma/Degree in a quality or relevant business discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related activities
  • Experience in managing a QMS accredited to ISO9001:2015 is essential
  • Knowledge of EU Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines
  • Experience is quality auditing is desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Be methodical and organised
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent knowledge of English (verbal/written)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
