Buyer/Planner

My client is looking for a Buyer/Planner to join their team on a contract basis (Mat cover)

Duties:

• Planning, Procuring & scheduling materials & services.
• Manage Vendors & Monitor Vendor performance.
• Preparation of materials costings & support to Customer Service.
• Manage inventory levels.
• Place purchase orders
• Identify potential cost savings with existing or new sources of supply.
• Support new product introductions.

Requirements:

Business Degree or equivalent APICS Cert or IIPMM Diploma

number of years experience in a relevant buying position.

Ability to work in a methodical and accurate manner.

Experience of working in an MRP/MPS environment is essential.
