Electrical Project Manager (x2)

Permanent position with a Building Engineering Services Company, we are seeking 2 x Electrical Project Managers, one based in West Dublin / Dublin West and the other in the South East of Ireland on-site for a major construction corporate client project.

You will be expected to be in the office or on-site for the working week, so ability to travel when needed is important and as such, a full driving licence is essential.

The company has an excellent reputation for, and track record of, delivering engineering services for large scale commercial construction projects.

Role:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project from greenfield/initiation to completion, covering the following:

• Coordinating with contractors, quantity surveyor, sub-contractors, electrical project engineers, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to the project plan
• Communicating with clients to inform them of project status and issues
• Managing the bidding process for projects to ensure that they adhere to quality standards
• Preparing detailed project plans and schedules for to follow
• Ensuring compliance with Site/ Health & Safety regulations
• Preparing detailed project plans and schedules for the various teams to follow
• Managing the project budget, management progress reporting and review meetings
• Evaluate overall project performance regularly
• Liaise with client & management team on an ongoing basis to ensure scope of works is delivered & client requirements are met

Experience required:

• 3^rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering or similar qualification
• 5+ years' experience in a building contracting environment essential
• Proven history of managing and delivering large Electrical engineering projects
• Electrical Engineering or equivalent background essential
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Leadership Skills to motivate and direct teams in a Building / construction environment
• Excellent IT / Technical Skills

Salary = €80-100K
