IRC Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a client for the role of a client within the Pharmaceutical sector for the role of a Learning Project Manager on a remote working basis.

Job Title: Learning Project Manager (fully remote)

Salary: €450-€500/ day

Contract length: 12 months


The Learning Solutions Project Manager (LPM) role is a key role within the CTS CONEXTS Learning team. The LPM is the single point of contact with key clients on all aspects of learning projects, from first discussions on learning solution requirements to final delivery of the agreed learning solution and project wrap-up, all with a view to establishing and building trust with key clients, leading to an ongoing business relationship. The LPM is highly organised, comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders, well versed in project management methodologies, adult learning theory, appropriate didactic methods, experiential learning, digital technology and how to apply these to business learning solutions. The LPM is adaptable, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity and change, and capable of working autonomously when required while contributing to a strong team dynamic. Knowledge of the Pharma industry is an advantage.

Other responsibilities of the LPM will include, but are not limited to:

  • Application of solid instructional design methodology, including adult learning theory, interactive activities, and competency-based evaluations to ensure time spent in training is value added.
  • Overseeing vendor selection and managing the chosen vendor to ensure appropriate use of resources to design and/or deliver training programs.
  • Application of project management principles, processes, and tools to ensure on time and on budget delivery of training projects and clear communication with all involved stakeholders.
  • Overseeing localization and translation of materials across regions and countries in line with legal and compliance regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain evaluation strategies to measure and report on the effectiveness of training solutions (i.e. Kirkpatrick's Levels 1-4, KPI and ROI methodology).
  • Building and development of strong sustainable relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively with them to achieve common goals and share knowledge and best practice.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • previous experience in pharmaceutical or health care industries
  • learning, teaching or train the trainer experience
  • knowledge of adult education theory and practice
  • experience managing vendors in the delivery of client solutions
  • strong project management experience and track record of successful delivery in complex environments
  • experience working with internal customers with a defined customer focused relationship and having accountability for Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • fluent in written and spoken English, other languages an advantage
